Inspiration can be found anywhere
Oct. 28th, 2003 06:35 amHermeneutic Sloth (
malloc1024) recently tried his hand at poetry. "Garcia Lorca amidst the artichokes" is a clean-lined minimalist poem that uses repetition to lull and sooth. However, there is a note of longing to the poem for this reader:
"...errands yet incomplete"
"Of what could have been,
what should have been"
I'll admit I'd never heard of Garcia Lorca before. He was a Spanish poet, playwrite, novelist, artist.
Thank you for the introduction.
