Incoming White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs includes one hell of a teaser at the very end of this video. AT 4:15, he addressed this question:

"“Is the new administration going to get rid of the ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy?”

He responded, “You don’t hear a politician give a one-word answer much, but it’s yes.”

And then the answer ends. WTF!!!??? Just "Yes"? What's going to take its place? "OK, everyone back in the footlocker"?

I would hope the answer would be, "Be as gay as you want to be. You can't be denied admittance to, or discharged from the military based on sexual orientation."

I'm hoping the same thing, Rich, but I've become cynical in the extreme after 20 years of marginalization as an out lesbian. My cynicism outweighs my hopefulness at this point.
