ambitious_wenchNote: The following is a failsafe posting. I replied to a comment made to me on another person's journal last night, but somehow it didn't make it through. I want to be sure that this response is available in more than one spot should technology fail me again.

I know I replied to this last night, and apparently it did not go through completely. But that's ok because I think I'm more able to write a more cohesive response this morning.

You are absolutely right. It is Rey's room. And yes, she has the right to say whatever she chooses.
However, it is becoming too painful to me to see people I care about being called names they do not deserve by people who do not know them. It was to Darkrosetiger and Msmanna I was speaking, much like C. did at the Gathering when I challenged R.'s assumption on Rey's motives in front of her.
When things got too painful in the Argument Shop, I resorted to email-filter tech fu to file all posts in a sub-folder as a means of emotional defense.
As of my first posting of this response last night, all three of you have now been removed from my friends list so that I am no longer privy to these posts and the well-intentioned but incorrect name-calling by those who wish to support one side or the other.
I will of course be checking in on your journals to keep up with your posts, but only when I am mentaly prepared to keep my thoughts behind my teeth should I see another of this kind of post.
I know that R. has sent an email. I refused to read it before it was sent. I truly hope that it is the begining of healing between the three of you. I can hope that the three of you start talking to one another instead of posting here in plain view of us in the middle, and locking the pertinant person out.
I simply cannot be party to this any more.
