ambitious_wench88 year-old Helen Thomas has returned to her seat in the White House press room. She was out for a stomach infection for several months.
Ms. Thomas said there would be no "honeymoon" for Obama--"maybe a day", she said. She noted that JFK predicted a black president in 30 years. "He fell a little short of the mark". When asked if she ever thought she'd see a black president, she simply said "No.".
Give 'em hell, Helen. It's so good to have you back.
