The grass in my front yard is up to my hips--and once again, the weekend forcast is for rain. I have yet to plant my tomatoes. They are sitting in their cell pacs, and will soon be too tall, roots inching out through drain holes.

Other bits of triva from Edie's life: I'm going to be doing some life modeling today, and it occured to me that I do not want to have lines on my skin. So I just spent the better part of 15 minutes searching for loose clothing to put on. Yes, I can't wear most of my clothes any more. I'm up to about a size 16.

Thanks to Reynardo for boosting my self image with just a few words. When I expressed dismay about my increased size she said "So? I don't see a problem there." I said that it was something I hadn't gotten used to, and that I wasn't feeling very pretty, she responded "Soft breasts, lucious curves, tender thighs--I still don't see the problem."

Enough angsting about body image.

*sigh*  Wish we could ship you over here to model for us.  With that glorious hair, divine curves and an artfully draped python, I think you could put Botticelli's goddesses to shame...

Bad self-image doesn't really end when you lose weight. Hence why you get people who are anorexic/bulemic yet thin enough to pose a risk to their health, and guys like me who are probably the most physically fit people they live around yet always see themselves as too skinny or too weak. The Wall in your mind can be the hardest to climb.
