It felt like snow today, but it's not in the forecast at all. The valley is still pretty smokey under a cloudy sky.
A couple of weeks ago I blew out my tire on the road back from Mono Lake; That happened on Thanksgiving day. Not only that, but the idiots at Town Fair Tires in Attleboro, MA, crossthreaded one of the lugnuts, and I snapped the mounting stud.
Got it all fixed today, new tire, replaced the stud. $111.26.
I've been working on the Little Red Tent blog; In this iteration, it's no longer at the top level of my site, but one step down. Long story short, my new webhosting service, 1and1.com, offers PHP/MySQL/Wordpress as part of the package. However, I can't access any of it from the back end to do any editing of themes or databases. So I opted to put up Wordpress and activated my database, and now I'm tweeking the presentation as I learn how.
The photogallery is on hold until later. Deor, you can relax. No, it won't be Flash.
In other news, I've sold one calendar, to a coworker here in Yosemite. She's a big fan of my work. I don't like the fact that zazzle charges damn near $30 for one calendar. I only get about $3 for each one sold.
On Monday I'll be getting my print kit for my printer; $85 for 50 prints, if I'm lucky.
I've already sold 10 of them, that's how I managed to pay for the kit.
Flickr Uploadr 3.0(beta) has serious issues. I went back to 2.3.1.
Jazz, I'm loving your Mac intro stuff. Can you recommend a wysiwyg app to edit html that doesn't produce bloated pages that fail the w3 compliance tests?
In closing, I want this.
