Well, I get home from a long road trip (more on that later) and jump on to offload pics, and to reconnect with the world. Got IM'd by Loyd of YosemiteBlog.com, and lo! he asks me to be one of his new co-bloggers.
Sure, sez I, what do you want? Anything you wanna write, sez he.
Mwahahahaaha!
I just posted a road trip report. Forgive if it's a bit garbled, I was up at 3:30 this morning.
I'm STILL waiting for the last of my pics to upload to flickr.
Well, there are 333 of them.
One word to describe the bristlecone pine groves? Surreal.

Enjoy.

Date: 2007-10-29 01:26 am (UTC)The trees were on an alien planet that sucked up the souls of a large group of people who'd been marooned, then slaughtered. There were two types of trees - one that looked like the classic big cactus, the others looked like the one in the picture - both held the souls of those who'd died and their blood fertilized the ground. Like I said, spooky and intense.
The dream ended with me burning down the forest to release the trapped souls.
