Interview Meme: Art's Questions

(1) What was the best part about being in the Navy?
Learning that I am capable of much more than civilians give me credit for.
(2) Of all your many pets, which would you eat last?
The smart-ass in me has to reply: Techi.
(3) Not including sex/relationships, what's the best thing that's ever happened to you as a result of being a lesbian?
Once I gave in and accepted myself, it suddenly occured to me that I was outside the rules of convention. I didn't have to conform to what Society expected of me. That it was up to me to make my own way, to define my own roles, to choose what fit on any given day. I'd broken all the rules, you see.
(4) Favourite childhood toy?
Oddly, I didn't have toys. My mother was phillosophically opposed to most toys marketed for girls--she was a radical Feminist in the mid-60's. When I went to live with my Grandmother at the age of 8, I simply didn't have much use for toys. I do remember playing with my friend Patty's Easy Bake Oven once...
Wait, would a bicycle count as a toy? Then my bike. I learned to fly on my bike! Hee!
(5) What question do you most want somebody to ask you?
"What are you good at, Edie?"
