I had $120 stolen from my wallet yesterday afternoon. I had returned from a road trip, hands too full with trash and stuff, and so when I got to the bathroom, I put my wallet on the shelf above the sink. I threw away my trash, went to the bathroom, and forgot my wallet. When I went back, my wallet was still there, and the money was missing.

Making the bold assumption that you're not living in a house with that many people (eg. 3<) that you've narrowed down the list of culprits?

What I'd suggest is leaving your wallet in the bathroom again, sans cash, but containing a note stating: I'm watching you, motherfucker!

Then start watching for who starts slinking pensively around you :D
