For those of us who appreciate curves and graceful lines.

Mmmm.

The site does have a B&W series of the same model :-)

I converted it to greyscale in Photoshop--I'd need to deepen the contrast some for it to really be worthwhile, though. The background becomes "busy" in black and white--and there just isn't enough value difference in her skin tones to convert well to monochrome.

Part of the beauty of the picture is the subtle shades of pink and cream in her skin, I think.

Aneli is becoming my favorite model there, and Slastyonoff may very well get my next subscription.

Very true. But it's amazing how different pictures can look in b/w...not better, but it brings out amazing shadows and textures sometimes.

I can't imagine that scene from Casablana in color--the one where Rick and Ilsa are alone in his apartment, and the light through the shades back lights her profile.

For that matter, I can't imagine ANY of it in color.

Different things work in B&W, so a photo set up for colour won't necessarily translate to B&W very well. Looking at the B&W series, the background there is a lot simpler and the lighting is optimised for B&W. A good photographer knows how to match subject and technique :-)

This is true. Alas, I am not a professional photographer. *smile*

Nor me. I know just enough to appreciate other people's talent, without having any of my own in that direction :-)
