Atari 400 also with a 16K cartridge, flat keyboard and a cassette tape drive. I think I wanted to save up to get the 800 so I could up the memory to 32K and be really cool! Or as cool as you could be playing a nuclear reactor simulation game.
And the shock of scale... A MB seemed huge until it fit on a 3.5" disk. A CD seemed like more than enough space for a backup. Then a DVD. A terabyte seemed like something out of science fiction.
