Loyd over at Yosemiteblog.com has put up a new entry entitled "Can you find me?". Seems he put up a picture of his Jeep on Flickr, and was contacted asking permission to use it. He said "sure!", and this is the result.
Jeep has put up a website entitled www.havefunoutthere.com with some pretty Flash. They have claimed bragging rights on the number of Flickr images tagged with Jeep, number of "friends" on MySpace, Number of videos on YouTube tagged with Jeep...
You get the idea.
Me, I'm not about Jeeps at all. They are gas hogs, and are often used irresponsibly in fragile environments. I'm also not keen on a whole ad campaign based on unpaid work.
But damn, I have to give them props for one of the most novel uses of the intartubes.
