Time for an update.

ambitious_wenchHope every one had a wonderful holiday--I spent Xmas morning handing people their first cup of coffee of the day at Coffee Corner. That night, there was sufficient snowfall at Badger Pass to open the slopes. It was slushy, but we opened on the 27th, and it was trial by fire.
Today was my first day off in a long time, and so I went back up there and snow-shoed for the first time. Deceptively easy--other than when I would step on my own feet, I didn't fall. There are pictures on my flickr account,will post some here shortly.
It seems that the Ahwahnee may want me after all. It wouldn't be the salaried position, but it would be a rooms inspector, at the same pay scale I am now.
I am hoping for a promotion at Badger--several steps up the pay scale if it comes through.
