I believe it was in the back yard of my grandmother's house at 50 Villa, Salinas, CA.

No.

Yes. I kneed my first husband hard in the balls when he slapped me hard enough to knock me against the wall. I was pregnant at the time.

On a regular basis since I was about 8 years old.

*blink* Tough one. Each individual has something uniue about them that attracts me to them. Sometimes its the way they walk, or their gregariousness, or intelligence. Sometimes it's something as superficial as a bright piece of clothing, or a silly hat.

9.What is your biggest mistake?
*thoughtful pause* I'm not sure how to answer that. I am who I am because of my "mistakes", and so I would not be who I am if I hadn't made those mistakes. But, if I had to choose one thing I regret not doing, it would be not going to college.

Yes.

I've had subscriptions to Organic Gardening in the past, but currently I read Backpacker, National Geographic, Alpinist, Photography, and New Yorker.

I used to work at Rhode Island Project AIDS.

No. I don't watch TV at all.
