ambitious_wenchYou know, after seeing this bear rip huge hunks of bakr off a log, I don't think I'll be making any bear jokes.
This is a once in a lifetime shot, and I consider myself lucky to have gotten it. Taken today on the path from Mirror Lake/Meadow. This was my first bear sighting.
I hiked out to Hidden Falls today, and have LOTS of pictures. I'll be uploading them shortly. Enjoy!

Date: 2005-07-05 02:44 am (UTC)Or are you definitely supposed to use bright lights to stop a bear from being interested in you? I can't remember. Luckily, I'm not in Bear Country, so I get away with not knowing these things.
