ambitious_wenchI'm back in spades! Seems the probem with the laptop was the power cord had a break in the wire. A bit of splicing, some electrical tape, and I'm good to go again.
Man, I *really* need to get my Mac out here, and internet connection in my room.
In other news, I met Don Gonyea's brother; For those that don't know, Don Gonyea is a reporter for NPR. (Malada, are you with me?)
Speaking of which, I need to buy a small FM radio. I've been woefully out of the loop news-wise.
Oddly, the day my laptop crapped out, I scored a major find. A free tripod for my camera. It's missing the quick release shoe, but that's an easy $12.50 to replace.
