As glaciers scooped and cleared the valleys clean
To leave behind cool tarns to gleam
And reflect the azure sky and stormclouds swirled
My mother once observed a woman painting a mountain landscaped, and commented that she'd done a very good job depicting the valley below, that she could see where the glacier had created the valley.
The woman turned and looked at my mother and said "No glacier did that. God scooped it out with His hand".
