the pathological will of green EDITED!
Feb. 12th, 2005 06:20 pmFor all of my friends on LJ that were distressed by my recent spate of beauty blogging, my apologies. 'Cept you, CD, and thank you for your kind words. However, I think that belonging to a community such as this one means being gracious to the folks who have dial-up connections. Plus yes, 37 pictures in a row on a friends list isn't everybody's cup of chai, but that's not why I'm consolidating them all here in this last post. (Latecomers: Yes, I blogged 37 images from Flickr separately in one day. Yes, it's post hogging at its finest!) It's for those who are behind the technology curve.
So, without further ado, here are the thumbnails,
hydrangea serrata 'bluebird'
Waterlilies rise from the muck and mud to bloom in the light and sun.
beauty at the macro level.
I think I've found the latest incarnation of Skippy.

Date: 2005-02-12 11:41 pm (UTC)If I wanted to look at pictures, I'd go over to Flickr and look for them. One picture is great, two or three pictures is fine. More than five pictures in a row from the same person is annoying. It's your journal, you can post whatever the heck you want, but if posting dozens of pictures is what you want to do then I hope you won't be horribly offended when I remove your journal from my list 'cause, you know, it's my list and I don't like having to scroll through two pages (!!!) of photos to find the stuff I actually want to read.
Summary: They're beautiful pictures, but you're STILL POST-HOGGING. Love ya, dear.
i support the new pantene of livejournal
Date: 2005-02-13 04:56 pm (UTC)but you do what ya gotta do, you know? what happened to spontaneity and inspiration in our lives? sure, i was a little bit surprised to see so many entries all at once, and yes, all my LJ friends probably think i got hit by a truck because i haven't responded to their last two days of entries (i have no problems with that!), but if you have a flash of inspiration, i say why not ride it?
perhaps the catharsis and the chronology of the posting will lead to better things and even karma.
...or you can just say, "don't hate my entries because they're beautiful."
:)
