A convoluted path led me to a magical website:
Several days ago, the alt.devilbunnies mailing list errupted with political discussions, and as a result a new mailing list was spawned. After a false start, I've joined "Argument Shop", and have already refered to something I saw on one of my friends' journals here at LJ. So here I am trying to peruse
jazzmasterson's Live journal, and I see a link to a website that sorta rings a bell. So I click on "Alas, A Blog", and am transported to a cartoon about politicos owning voting machines. I scroll down--no, this isn't the website I saw the article on...wait! Look, banyan tree roots! A spectacular photograph of tree roots slides upwards into view, and I am reminded of my time in Hawaii, and the tree outside my living roon window, and the roots that were such a fascination to me. The caption reads "Kick ass nature photography site", and provides me with a link to Bill Atkinson's website.
So here, now, is a picture *I* like from Bill's gallery:

Maybe there is hope for my photography talents--take a look at this!

Enjoy the show.

And I still have yet to find the website with the article on the cop's trash...
