daffodil dreams
Jan. 28th, 2003 11:44 amI rarely dream
in black and white
only winter
bleeds the color
from my sight
I cannot blink
and fill the lines
with ocher red
or vibrant green
but there are signs
I've come to seek
the coming spring
is forecast by
the cheerful splash
of yellows, greens
and azure sky
jonquils laughing
upon gray hill.
