Justice for all?
Nov. 19th, 2004 12:12 pmOn July 14, 2003, Robert Novak, a syndicated columnist, published the name of covert operations CIA agent, Valerie Plame. This in itself has been called an act of treason by some on the left of the ideological isle. Other say it was part of a plan to endanger Plame in retaliation for work that her husband did in discrediting the claim that Iraq was trying to buy uranium for the much touted "weapons of mass destructions".
All I know is that Jim Trafficanti, a news reporter here in Rogue's Island has been sent to jail for not revealing who gave him an FBI video tape that was instrumental in getting Providence mayor Buddy Cianci put in jail.
Here's my theory: Novak is a conservative reporter, dancing to the Neo-Con rag as his overlords demand. He has refused repeatedly to name his sources. And he is not being indicted because he has friends in high place.
When there are no judges willing to try members of the administration for crimes of treason, we slide even further into a new and fascist state.
