mylastsigh and remus_shepherd have gifted me with a year each of paid Live Journal accounts. I just received an anonymous gift of another year of extra user pics.
*chuckle*
Only problem is, I really don't intend to change my icon. Was this supposed to be a hint?
Seriously, I appreciate the gift. And yes, I will occasionally swap out my icon when I think it is a good idea to lighten up.
I want to thank each and every one of you ("All ya'll!). I really don't need any more LJ gifts, so please consider making a donation to NOW, Planned Parenthood, your local Public Radio station instead. Oxfam is another organization that I approve of.
Remember, there is no such thing as a "self-made man". I intend to become a published author, and I know that I would not be able to do it if it weren't for the education I received in public schools, and that incredible temple to information, the Public Library. Go take flowers in offering to the priestess, the librarians. Buy a librarian lunch.
Let's all consider the tax benefits we enjoy every day of our lives. Including the internet.
