I don't know you (or at least, not yet), but I've seen you crop up on various Friends' Friends lists from time to time. And as a distinct herpetophile, I couldn't resist a look at the pics you posted.
What a gorgeous pair you make! What's the serpent's name? Is he(?) yours, and if so, will we hear more about him? *hopeful look*

Date: 2003-01-26 08:26 am (UTC)Nice to meet you too. The snake is Deko-Boko, which is a transliteration of Japanese that roughly translates to "Lumpy". He's a Peruvian Red-tailed boa, and is very gentle. He was about to get a shower with me when that pic was snapped.
I'm glad you liked the pics, and as we take more, I'll be sure to post URLs.

One of the few times I wasn't absolutely petrified seeing, or heaven forbid touching a snake was at Mass Gathering when they brought out that cute little corn snake. It must have been all that Moxie I'd been drinking.
