actually, I am a socialist but the test is geared for the US and I doubt there are a lot of socialists in the US.

Actually, the test was definitely geared to a centrist or conservative viewpoint, I think. As for Socialists in the US, I dunno. A friend of mine says that if you thing Medicare is a good idea, you're a Socialist.

I suppose that would be me.

Anybody else out there reading this have a viewpoint on it?

Actually, yeah, I can see how Medicare and Socialism go hand in hand. Both are wonderful ideas but hard to make work properly and trying to turn around a Capitalist society is very very diffecult. Not impossible, true, but diffecult.

For what it's worth, I'm a socialist/green-leaning nominal Democrat, (ie, WAY left of center for US politics), and this test pegged me as a liberal Republican. Now I can get along with a centrist and I don't care what party they claim, but still...

All this test tells me is that the writer of the test has some glaring misunderstanding of politics on the left. Which, in America, is sadly unsurprising.
