One week out

ambitious_wenchWell, we're one week out from opening gate at King Richard's Faire. I'm nervous, and excited. Opening day is Saturday.
Good news: I may have a job--more new once it solidifies.
As you note, I've been posting stuff on the current political situation. Frankly, I really wish Westly Clarke had gotten the Democratic nomination. But at this point, I am dead against Bush, and would vote for Mickey Mouse if he were running.
My friend Gary, a music teacher, lost his job recently due to budget cuts. Thankfully, he got another job at a town several miles away from where he lives. Another friend, Jen, calls Bush's education policy "No Teacher Left Standing".
Other than that, I'm ok. Tired, footsore, and grinning like an idiot at the end of the weekend. One more mini-pub rehearsal, and then we go live.
