I'm begining to think that this is a real log cabin, but the the additions are fake. Note the logs sticking out? those are real. The logs on the side of the house facing end at the left edge of that window. Note the seam in the foundation, as well.

Rather charming lamp post here, with a stuffed sheep. There are hostas coming up around the base, too. I love Hostas.
There are lily of the valley to the left, on the slope up to the house.

I think with care and trimming and pruning, this little fir will make a fine outdoor Yule tree.
I don't think it's going to get very big because it's growing from a rock ledge.

A view of the house up the hill from the parking area. Note the stairs are in pretty rough condition.

View from the street up the driveway.

This cries out to the gardener in me!

Not sure what this round concrete slab is. I suspect it's a cover to a septic tank. The property is listed as having city water and sewer connections.

some seepage from the large rock ledge. I am not sure if there is a spring, or if this is run-off of water from rain yesterday.

More seepage.

This is the rock ledge or outcropping. The tallest of those propane tanks come up to my chin.

AGain, the porch section of the building is an addition. The original house ends at the right side of the left window, by the logs.

A view of the house from the top of the outcropping. Note the straight roofbeams. The roofing looks new.

I need to give these folks a call to find out about service contracts. The house is heated with propane, and also cooking, too.

Good South-West exposure. That patio is a good place to add a conservatory. Think of the plants I could grow in there!

The walkway is in need of serious repairs. Luckily that root burl is rotted, and should be easy to remove.

Gutter downspout, and an odd box-contraption. I think it may be a heater of some sort.

View of the fieldstone fireplace. Note the sapling cedar on the right.

Again, the walkway needs work.

A view from the lower area of the yard.
