Technology doesn't fail us...
Apr. 19th, 2004 04:21 pmTechnology doesn't fail us. People do. I received a call from my real estate agent regarding the house I showed you yesterday--and was told that as of FRIDAY NIGHT it was under contract, and that it was no longer available. I had called on Sunday, and gotten the listing. It seems that some secretary somewhere hadn't made the change to the database.
How frustrating is that? If I were a real estate agent, I would have found out how to change it and done so myself as soon as the offer was accepted. So that adorable gem of a house is out of my reach, and was out of my reach before I even saw it.
*Sigh*

Date: 2004-04-19 01:36 pm (UTC)Sales sometimes fall through. I hate to wish bad luck on someone, but maybe that buyer won't be able to swing it. Make sure your agent knows that you're interested just in case...
Good luck -- and if this doesn't work, I hope you find something just as perfect!
