House hunting
Apr. 18th, 2004 12:13 pmI think I may have found my house. It's 4 rooms, a stone fireplace, 1/2 acre of land, Cable internet available. No basement to flood, no attic, small storage where the garage used to be. Room for a small greenhouse. I could put in a dog run for Seamus and Boo. I might even be willing to let Pye out occasionally.
I may want to take out the Yew bushes, and put in crimson azaleas. Or lilacs. Mmmm, lilacs.
all for $159K.
This is what it looks like:

So, what do you think, folks? Is it Chez Edie?

Exquisite!
Date: 2004-04-18 11:59 am (UTC)It's about 1/3 the size of mine, but small is beautiful -- I sometimes wonder about my irrational lust for large houses and all of the work they entail. This is a little jewel.
Since everything I have -- literally -- is tied up in my house, I'm always curious about real estate in other areas. Can you tell me what city this is in and what the square footage is? (You can e-mail me privately if you like Medee6040 at AOL.)
Just one question -- will it have room for all of those lovely pictures you post? (Okay, a rhetorical question, perhaps...)

Date: 2004-04-18 06:23 pm (UTC)It's a good house for all your animals but I do have one question: where are *you* going to live?
