No, I didn't think it was a dig. I liked the analogy--she does have gumby-legs! I want to try again, to continue drawing, but I'm afraid it will never be this good again. It's kinda like finding out I've got nearly perfect pitch, but having stagefright.
I have a friend who sets up a model and a studio, and charges $5 for a three hour session. She lets her models in for free. I think I may go just to try my hand again, and see if it was a fluke, or if i can draw.
