ambitious_wenchFelt like shit when I woke up this morning, decided to try to hitchhike to Tuolumne Meadows instead and could not get a ride. So I meandered by the river for a bit, took in the movie at the Visitor's Center ("The Spirit of Yosemite") where it was cool and dark and almost fell asleep in there. Got some nice shots, a bunch of mosquito bites and now I'm having a cold beer. Yum.
Thanks for all the well wishes--20% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. It's hot. I'd say it's close to 100F right now. That's like Africa hot. *noddle*
It's ok. I have coffee, and chocolate (with espresso beans!) and another beer in the fridge.
No broken bones, no dislocated knees, nothing worse than a few mosquito bites, but that's bad enough. Itch and heat are a painful combination.
Come on, thunderstorms!
