From the "It really sucks to be me" department

OK, today is my one year anniversary in Yosemite. And I'm borked. My mac has shit the bed--it starts up, I get the opening chord, then the HD winds up and starts going tic-TOC, tic-TOC. Nothing but the grey screen comes up.

I have no tools to open up the case to check if the fan is making the noise or if it's the hard drive.

My laptop works, so I'll be able to review my pictures, off load them, but I won't be able to upload them to my flickr account very often, if at all.

I can access my email at work, and occasionally chat briefly using Google talk, but until I find a way to get my mac looked at I'm going to be scarse.

My love to you all in the mean time.
