Ginmar is home!
Feb. 12th, 2005 11:13 amImagine my surprise when I saw
ginmar's screen name on my AOL buddy list.
No, not gonna post the log, she deserves some privacy, and besides, it's not that fascinating or revealing. But the good part she is home, safe and sound.
I'm not the sort to pray. First, I'm never sure who to pray to, second, I'm not sure there's anyone really listening. But I have been sending out prayers to any benificent deity for her safe return home.
Those prayers have been answered, and so I send out this thanks.
Gin, if you're reading this, I'll continue to pray for your easy transition back into this civilian life. And that they don't yank you back to Iraq.
*sigh of relief*
And finally, yes, you're not an officer, but work for a living--and so you've doubly earned a salute from this crusty old ex-squid. Bravo Zulu, GinMar, and welcome home.
*SALUTE!*
