Where is the moontree
The lovely lady of the night
Resting in rivers and trees and in shadows
Hiding her healing light
One day soon she’ll shine again
Our roots will be nourished, our souls will be fed
She’s the other half of the sun
Where we all spring forth as one
The fertile goddess in the long white veil
Resting in darkness her face so pale
From whom we can no longer run
Where is the moontree
Her belly swelled with pain
Coming on wings in dreams and in songs
La lune, la femme, insane
But like a vision from a crystal stone
Her pulse comes nearer, we are not alone
Moon Tree
