Poem: A little health
Jan. 13th, 2004 08:43 amPoem: ""A Little Health," by anonymous poet, from The Diary of Francis Kilvert (1840-1879). (From The Writer's Almanac)
A Little Health
A little health,
A little wealth,
A little house and freedom,
And at the end
A little friend
And little cause to need him.
I am reminded of a feminist slogan: "Anonymous was a woman."
A Little Health
A little health,
A little wealth,
A little house and freedom,
And at the end
A little friend
And little cause to need him.
I am reminded of a feminist slogan: "Anonymous was a woman."
