That log cabin.

I found out why that log cabin is so low priced: The house is owned by the next door neighbor, and it seems that it shares a sewage hook up with them. The Town of Groton has stipulated that in order to be sold, the cabin much have it's own discreet hook-up. The listing realtor said that the lowest estimate is $12,000 (US). There may be a fee charged by the city to hook it up, in addition to the work.

The owner is asking the city for a waiver.

The house lists at $85,000 (US).

I have to wonder if the work could be financed by the bank as part of the purchase price.
